Smoky Mountain Sunset

So much of photography is not what an image is, but what it suggests. Here we stand, as the lone pine does, viewing the incomprehensible. Overwhelmed by what we see, from the smallest particle on this planet to the universe beyond. And we have the privilege of being here and seeing this.
